Tag gegen antimuslimischen Rassismus: Rosenverteilaktion

Anlässlich des Tages gegen antimuslimischen Rassismus verteilten die Mädchen und Jungen des DMK in der Innenstadt Rosen an die Karlsruher Passanten.
Der 1. Juli wurde als Gedenktag gewählt, da vor 11 Jahren die 32-jährige Pharmazeutin Marwa al-Sherbini im Landgericht Dresden aus islamfeindlichen Motiven ermordet wurde.
Zum Teil machten die jungen DMKler bei der Rosenverteilung die Erfahrung, dass kein Bewusstsein für den antimuslimischen Rassismus vorhanden ist oder oder er offen in Abrede gestellt wird. Zum Teil gab es aber auch schöne Begegnungen und Zustimmung für die Idee des Rosenverteilens. Beide Erfahrungsbereiche stärken uns in unserer Arbeit weiter gegen Rassismus und Menschenfeindlichkeit vorzugehen.
